The open tunnel is 24'' in diameter (teacup = 16?) and is made from heavy-duty material that is used for air ducts in mineshafts. The material is a scrim - vinyl coated and reinforced with steel rings. UV resistance and anti-microbial treatments have been added to insure longevity. Economy tunnels, great for home use, have a lighter weight wire heat-sealed into the tunnel fabric. Teacup tunnel wires are heat-sealed into the tunnel fabric but the sewn version is also available. All tunnels come with grommet tabs so the tunnel can be staked into the ground or attached to a tunnel holder with a short bungee .
